Ship engineer. Although no concrete date is known, he was born in Getaria in the mid-sixteenth century. He was director of the Santiago shipyard at Pasai Lezo and in Urola’s shipyard. From his hand came the ship San Juan Bautista and the ship of Admiral Aranburu. He was general of the Kantauri squadron and died in 1600 – 1601.
